Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, just hanging out with Grampy.
Big news at the house this week! No, I’m not able to go to Target with mommy yet. And no, Grammy hasn’t been able to visit yet.
I learned how to crawl!
I’ve been trying to do it for a few weeks but I just couldn’t put it all together. I would get up on my knees, with my butt in the air (Ha! I said “butt”), but I could only seem to go backwards or in a circle. But this week I put it all together!
I can finally get stuff! I don’t know why but everyone seems to be wishing mom and dad “good luck.” Good luck with what, I don’t know.
I’m still hanging out with Grampy a few times a week. Sometimes he comes to my house and sometimes I go over to my uncle Dougie’s where he’s staying. This week I got a new booster seat for when Grampy and I have lunch. My mom and my uncle Doug put it together.
My Uncle Doug works on jets for the Navy so he didn’t look at the directions. In spite of that, it came out pretty good.
I wonder where my uncle put the ejection seat handle?
Roscoe likes lunchtime.
I bring some toys over when I go. Can you believe that Grampy doesn’t have any toys? We did have a fun sword fight with his socky helper.
I also had the giggles again.
I just like hanging out with Grampy and he makes funny Grampy sounds.
We had a nice day this weekend so my mommy set up my new play mat on the back deck.
It’s nice and soft but it is a little slippery.
So I’m on the move! Grampy says I’ve entered a new phase. I crawl and sometimes climb.
He says he has to move the remote. And his cellphone.
He says this new phase has me crawl, play, climb and then ——–
Grampy says I’m lucky because he’s a good cuddler. I think so too.
“Raising Grampy” is the world through the eyes of Liam who is 6-months old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is there filling his role as Grampnanny.
