“Pete’s Daily Connection”

Woof Wednesday

Hi guys! It’s me, Oscar the Beagle.

Can we please go back to the way things were?

To be honest, when Grammy and Uncle Matt first started staying home a lot…. it was nice. Baxter and I were never alone. There was always someone here to take care of us. Now, I just want them to go away. I love them but please…. enough with this quarantine. (Is that how you spell it? I asked Grammy last night but I think I forgot.)

Every day it seems like the same old questions or comments:

What, do you sleep all day?” Yes. It’s what I do. I’m old. Give me a break.

Boy you certainly go out a lot!” Again, I’m old. I pee. It’s what I do.

Look at Grampy on the FaceTime!” Have I ever been able to see the guy? It’s not High Def, I can’t see him, stop pointing.

Oh and Grammy has been home long enough to figure out how the dining room chairs keep getting moved. We got new chairs and these new ones are just low enough to scratch my back. My lower back. Okay! My butt! She keeps putting them back just when I find the perfect spot for them.

I love them but sometimes I wish I could find a mask to fit over MY nose so I could go out. Maybe poke around Pet Depot, pick up some curb side take out.

I feel better after venting here. Thanks for listening. And what’s up with that claim that dogs cannot get the Corona Virus? Now they CAN? Maybe you CAN’T trust the media.

Oscar, Grammy and uncle Matt want what’s best for you…as we get older things don’t always work as they should. If you need a mask because Grammy hasn’t given one to you or Baxter let me know and I’ll make you both a few incase you should get it wet or dirty.. 🙃💕
