“Raising Grampy Chapter 38” is a look at the world through the eyes of 1-year old Liam. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is playing the role of Grampnanny.
Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam. It was another fun week with Grampy.
We had another one of those Football Sundays here. They seem to happen every week. First we went to the store to buy what my mommy called “Sunday Funday Football Snacks.” She gets pretty excited about those. We went and bought a few things.
I was willing to give up my car seat and sit in the back to hold the food but mommy said no.
On the way home we stopped for Grampy’s coffee. He likes his coffee. I got a surprise too.
Yes I gave Grampy one of my munchkins. I hate to see a grown man beg.
Helping with the snack
I helped mommy mix the snack.
She said it was a “Sweet” Chex Mix with all kinds of good stuff.
I got my own cup with the stuff mom said was safe.
Right before the game started Grampy was checking his Fantasy team —— so I took his wallet.
I haven’t seen him move that fast in a long time.
“The big guy (Grampy) is a pretty good cook”
One night this week Grampy was all excited about a meal he was making. Yeah the big guy is a pretty good cook. Mommy thought it was delicious. I enjoyed it too.
It wasn’t as good as the macaroni and cheese in the blue box but I enjoyed myself.
Three Day Weekend
Mommy was all excited about something she called a “Three Day Weekend.” We went to the playground.
I like the playground.
Do you know where I can buy my mommy more of those Three Day Weekends? They make her so happy. I like it when mommy is happy. Maybe I’ll ask Grampy to go on that Amazon thing. And I should probably ask for some money too.
Raising Grampy Chapter 38
So that was our week. Sometimes when a busy day comes to an end, Grampy goes off to bed to read or sleep. I can’t help it but sometimes I still want to play.
I even brought my truck! Grampy likes my truck.
The next day though I got right back to playing and exploring.
The door doesn’t taste good. I checked.
Oh! I also did FaceTime with my Grammy and my uncle and aunt.
I always have SO MUCH to tell them!
