Hi everyone! Liam here, just hanging out with Grampy.
Guess where we went the other day? My mommy’s favorite place in the world! No, not Disney World. I can’t go there until I’m bigger. I guess it’s her SECOND favorite place in the world.
TARGET!
She goes there all the time. This time Grampy had me try on this big glove but only for one hand.
I tried to eat it! He says it’s almost time. Long toss begins next week. What’s long toss? And won’t my other hand get cold with only one glove?
Last week Grampy and I started our search for the best coffee shop in Virginia Beach. I don’t know why Grampy has such a hard time getting his bubba. I just act a little fussy and my bubba suddenly appears!
We went to a place down by the Oceanfront. I can’t use those words and I don’t think mommy would let me type them either so I’ll just have Grampy put the picture up.
He said they had a bigger menu than Starbucks but he got the Brewed Signature Blend Au Lait with a shot of caramel and it was yummy. I wouldn’t know. I just get my bubba’s regular.
This weekend I went to the zoo with my mommy and daddy. The zoo is in the city of Norfolk that’s….. well I don’t know where it is. I fell asleep in my car seat. That happens a lot to me in the car.
Mommy said we would see all kinds of animals. I only know my two puppies so it was interesting to see them.
I saw a puppy with a really long neck…….
And this one liked to swing from everything!
Did you notice I wore my elephant suit to the zoo? My mommy is so trendy!
I’m trying some new foods! I like bananas but I thought squash was yucky.
I offered to help feed myself the other day to make mealtime easier but they won’t let me hold the bowl. What could go wrong?
Oh my newest thing is to roll over.
Problem is, I don’t know what to do once I get rolled over. Daddy says crawling comes next but I don’t know how to do that yet. Maybe Grampy will get down on the floor and show me. Yeah! I’ll ask him. One thing is for sure: diaper changes are a lot more interesting now that I can roll over!
The other thing I like to do is play “Pick it up Grampy!
I play with my toy, then I drop it and wait for Grampy to pick it up. Works everytime! He said something about tying it to a fishing pole so he could reel it in.
We had the Virginia Beach Blizzard last Friday.
We got a little more snow than that but maybe just an inch or two. Mommy was hoping for a snow day but she had to go into work. I haven’t had a chance to play in snow yet. When I went to Grammy and Grampy ‘s house at Christmas there was no snow and we don’t get much here.
So yeah we had another busy week here with a lot to do and explore. Grampy wants to go see another coffee shop today. I got the keys Grampy!
I’m calling “Shotgun!” Or my car seat! Whatever! Off we go! Wake me up when we get there!
“Raising Grampy” is the world through the eyes of 5-month-old Liam. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Grampy is there as Grampnanny for now.
