Our quote for this week comes from Adam Lindsay Gordon who once wrote:
”There comes a point in life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will.”

I wish I learned that when I was younger.
I think I’ve told you how I used to try and please everybody. Maybe it was because I was on the radio and performing so I wanted have the most listeners I could who enjoyed the show. Then I realized, both personally and professionally, that some people would like my style and some people would not.
”If they only knew me! If I could only get them to understand!” For some people, they never will based on their own feelings and problems.
Maybe it only comes with age and experience for us to realize what really matters and who really matters. You get a pretty clear picture when you suffer a health problem or lose your job. Those people that only stayed with you for what you could do for them drift away. That’s sad at first but then you realize who is still there for you: the ones that really matter. The people that are there for the real you.
”There comes a point in life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will.”
