Hello peoples! It’s me, Charlie, and oh boy! It’s been hot!
That pretty much sums up my week. Nothing else to report. Goodnight!
I didn’t know it gets this hot. Hey! I’m new! I wasn’t here last year and it was nowhere in the literature they gave me. But boy did it get hot! My humans don’t take me out too much in this weather. Sometimes mom takes me out early in the morning but once things heat up…. I just spread out on the hardwood floors.
I don’t even play much with my toys when it gets hot. My dinosaur does make a nice pillow though.
Early this week we had a nice breeze off the water so that was nice. I moved my bed right in front of the window and stole the breeze from dad. Haha!
The next day mom and Kat put these boxes in the window and they spray cool air. Ahhhh! That’s nice. It’s not too bad with that on and the hardwood floors.
Mom took me to the beach the other day because of a nice breeze. I found a great spot behind her beach chair in the shade. I dug a little hole and laid down. It was nice. Dad wasn’t too happy when I brought sand back home. He keeps saying I need a bath. Hey! I had one this month! I’m all set!
Mom said the next couple of days will be cooler. They keep talking about the 4th of July and wondering how I will do. Is it a contest? Will there be games? Judges? I’ll let you know.
