Liam’s First Easter Egg Hunt

Chapter 61

Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, back in Virginia Beach after that lllooooonnnnngggg car ride to Grammy’s house. The day after we got home Grampy said we weren’t going anywhere because he couldn’t put me back in that car seat. I was kinda glad.

Guess what I did this week? I went on an egg hunt at our church. I know what eggs are because that’s the thing mommy always yells when I’m in the refrigerator-dator. “No! Not the eggs!”

They weren’t real eggs they were just plastic ones with candy inside! It was just a small group. There was me and my new friend Cohen in the little peoples group. Grampy went with me even though he’s not a little people anymore.

We had a lot of fun! My mommy couldn’t be there because she had to run the bank that day.

Good to be home

It was good to be home this week. Grampy and I got back to what we do.

We had some really nice weather this week. One night we had a Chick- fil- A picnic when mommy got home.

One day we had some rain but I didn’t know it was raining until I ran outside. It felt funny on my feeties.

It’s back — and yummy!

This week brought the return of “Fluffernutter Friday!” We hadn’t done that in awhile because we ran out of Fluff and mommy says she can’t buy it at the grocery store.

Grampy says I have my own unique way of eating Fluff. I don’t know I just like it. We brought back two big tubs of it from Grammy’s house.

We went shopping this past weekend. Guess what I saw?

It was just my size! Mommy said it was a cactus and I should be careful how I grab it.

After that we went to Target and I got tired of riding in my car, but I didn’t want to walk, and I wanted to push.

We made it work.

Back at home we worked outside.

And guess what I discovered?

And one more thing!

Mommy got a Liam seat put on her bicycle!

It was so much fun! I hope we go every day!

Wow! So much stuff this week. Grampy says he’s glad I still take a nap every day. I think he takes one too just to keep up.

Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of Liam who is a year-and-a-half old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is visiting and playing the role of Grampnanny.

You guys have me hooked on fluffer nuters again. I’s eating them every few days for lunch. Like I said before, I do mine with raisin swirl bread and it is soooooo good. Love the column and I promise the blinky show will bring many fun filled times. I think I bought them for Frankie for my enjoyment of watching him react to them. Wait until Liam walks by a mirror and a store window and he sees them blink. It’s a riot. And, Congrats he is an egg hunt pro. Were any of those filled with bite size Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. He is going to be a big success when the 2 of you got Trick or Treating this Fall.
