Doing Stuff On My Own

Chapter 58

Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, working hard at raising Grampy. I think he’ll be a real good grampy when I’m done with him.

This week my daddy said I need a haircut. I’ve never had a haircut and I don’t know why he feels that way.

This was right after my nap. I even think there might have been some peanut butter in there from lunch.

I can do it!

I’ve been trying to do more and more stuff by myself lately.

I haven’t quite figured out these shoe things but I’ll get it.

I had some coffee like my mommy.

Just kidding! I don’t drink coffee. That’s yucky! This was an empty cup I took from Grampy while he was putting the dishes away.

My Boppy!

I found my baby pillow this week.

I haven’t used this in a long time.

It’s not as big as I remember it. My mommy had a little tear in her eye when I was playing with it. I thought she liked my boppy.

My Uncle Dougie came over for a visit this week. Mommy is trying to teach me some manners and stuff. I have to see him out when he leaves.

I guess he doesn’t know the way out. Also I seemed to have lost my pants again.

Road trip!

Guess where we went? Mommy’s favorite place…after Disney World ….. Target! Grampy needed some stuff this time. I was going to share my Winnie the Pooh toothpaste with him but I guess he likes his own better.

I was all excited…

Because I got…

My cake pop! I love the cake pops.

Also this week my mommy bought me some Play Doh. It was really weird. She said she used to play with it when she was a kid.

She told me not to eat it. That’s when Grampy said, “Didn’t you eat it?” Mommy said, “No. I fed it to Doug.”

Doing stuff on my own!

Grampy said it’s going to be warm this week so we can play outside. I’ll say “Hi” to the ducks for ya.

“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of 1-year old Liam. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is visiting and playing the role of Grampnanny.
