Chapter 52
Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, checking in after another busy week. They’re all busy I guess, but we’re just having so much fun. Grampy has so much fun he goes to bed early every night. He just reaches his limit on fun for the day I guess.
Yesterday was “Matching Shirt Monday.” If you can’t read it it says, “Grampy and Liam, Besties since 2019.”
Busy Boy, Busy Box
This week I got to play with my Busy Box. Remember when we went to Home Depot?
That’s when my mommy bought the stuff.
Mommy brought it out when she and Grampy were trying to watch Zoom Church. I was busy putting on a show for all the people on the Zoom so she brought out this box of stuff for me to play with. It was so cool!
She says it will only come out in emergencies. I don’t know what that means but I sure had fun.
More fun with food
We had spaghetti the other night. Mommy said that all kids like spaghetti but I’m not sure yet. I did help my mom with cooking this week. She wouldn’t let me play with the knife so I just mixed stuff up.
And then of course….
Friday was Fluffernutter Friday! Grampy says I’m getting better every week. This shirt didn’t last much longer that day.
Also this week I got some ice cream with my Kids Meal at Chik Fil-A. I shared it with Grampy. What can I say? I’m a giver.
Other than that I’m still doing arts and crafts.
This is my Aquadoodle that my Auntie Shannon gave me for Christmas.
Mommy and Grampy took me to Starbucks this week.
Grampy said it reminded him of a time when we went last year, before they had to wear those silly masks on their face.
Mommy says, “You were so little!” That was before I discovered Cake Pops! Have you ever had a Cake Pop?
New Year New Look
Mommy has been moving things around a lot. She says she’s redecorating and organizing so I thought I would help. I took a picture out of Grampy’s room and moved it.
I figured it was a room he uses every day so why not?
Actually my Grammy is coming for a visit this week! Grampy thinks it’s to see him, but I think we all know the truth.
“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of Liam who is 1 year old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is visiting and playing the role of Grampnanny.
