Hi guys! It’s me, Oscar the Beagle.
I learned a new lesson this weekend. Yeah I’ve learned A LOT of lessons over the years. If I keep up my current pace….I could be the smartest Beagle EVER! Right up there with my hero: Snoopy! He’s the best!
My Auntie Kat and Uncle Josh came over to watch that football thing again…though I noticed there wasn’t as much yelling as usual. Maybe they weren’t watching the right guys play?
Well during the game they had snacks like they always do but with Grampy out of town the others don’t drop HALF as much as he usually did.
I did start barking around two and then I got Baxter barking as we tried to convince Grammy that it was suppertime. Guess what? Didn’t work.
After awhile Auntie Kat, Uncle Josh and Uncle Matt moved to the dining room table and started working on something. They dumped all these little pieces out and then started sorting them out. I had never seen this before.
I guess it’s called a “Jigsaw Puzzle.” I don’t know why humans do this. If you think about it, they make this nice picture and then they cut it up and you have to put it back together. If you liked the picture, why didn’t they just sell the picture instead of cutting it up. And who cuts it? And how? It’s not easy to do that with scissors I bet.
Matt and Josh were working on the picture and Kat was finding a piece of what they needed. That’s when she dropped one on the floor and THAT’S where I found another life lesson: Jigsaw puzzle pieces do not taste good. They taste like cardboard. I know this because I bit into one. Yeah, just one. It wasn’t tasty at all.
Auntie Kat hurried to get it away from me but she really didn’t have to: it was yucky!
So, yeah, we now have a lovely picture of a campsite with a family camping….and one piece that has some toothmarks. Yeah, I did that.
That’s the box. Yeah they put the picture on the box and they DON’T cut that one up. Why don’t people just buy the box?
Humans! I may never understand these people.
Oh….and then this happened:
I just wanted to play with my stuffed snake when he got stuck on my nose. Uncle Matt laughed.
It’s not easy being me.
