Woof Wednesday

Guys, guys, guys….Yesterday was the Best! Day! Ever!

Oh hi! It’s me, Oscar the Beagle. I’m feeling much better. Thanks for asking. Yeah Grammy and Grampy gave me my medicine plus I get that breathing treatment.

That’s kind of weird!

Yesterday was fantastic! We had breakfast TWICE!

Grammy was away working. I guess she had a busy night doing that ambulance thing. Grampy woke up when the sun came up. He said he was going back to sleep because it wasn’t even 7:00 yet (whatever that means). The problem is, once I wake up, my belly wakes up. Baxter too. So Grampy decided to feed us, let us out, then bring us in and THEN go back to bed.

So I went back to bed with him but then Grammy came home a little while later. Grampy left a note on the counter but when she came in, Baxter and I were so glad to see her that we kept her busy with jumping and barking and tail wigga wagging and she never saw it. Ha! Our plan worked!

She went right to the cabinet and filled up my bowl, then Baxters. Once she put them down —– she saw the note. HAHA!

Grampy says the next time this happens he’s going to tape the note to the kibble closet. Hmmm. Now I need a new plan. I also need to figure a way to get two suppers. THAT would be nice!

Yeah I am feeling a lot better than I was last week. I saw that buddy Baxter wrote on last week’s blog and asked for prayers. I guess we got a lot of them because the UPS guy came with stuff from Amazon. I guess you can order prayers there.

Yeah Grampy said my eyes looked clear and I had my “spunk” back. I don’t even know what my spunk is but I guess I lost it. I don’t mean to make my Grammy or Grampy sad but sometimes we old beagles have bad days. I know. You humans don’t know anything about that. I know things are changing because I heard my Uncle Matt get up for that college thing one morning, I jumped off the bed and YELPED! I used to make the jump easily but I guess I didn’t nail the landing. He heard the commotion and lifted me back into bed. I felt like that deserved a cookie to make me feel better but he didn’t see it that way.

I’m hoping I keep having good days. I have such a busy schedule taking care of Grampy and keeping him busy. I sure hope this man appreciates all I do for him.

Now I gotta figure out how to order things from Amazon.

Woof Wednesday is the world through the eyes of 11-year old Oscar the Beagle. Oscar lives in Fairhaven with Pete, Priscilla and Uncle Matt and his best buddy Baxter the Golden Retriever.
