Hi guys! It’s me…. Oscar the Beagle.
We went for a ride this week! And it WASN’T to the Vet! I was worried there for a bit.
I was in the back seat of our Jeep, with Baxter. He likes to lay down and take up almost the whole seat. I usually sit up and one time I stood on the button to make the windows go up and down. Grammy puts the “child protection” locks on now. I guess I’m her child.
We went to one of our favorite places. Sometimes Grampy calls it Fort Taber and sometimes he calls it Fort Rodman. I don’t think that man knows where he is.
We had all kinds of stuff to sniff and we met a lot of other dogs too. Of course we have to mark our territory because this is all new to us. I have to make it known that “Oscar was here.”
Oh that bag that Grammy’s holding? I didn’t do that. You can’t take Baxter anywhere.
It was a real nice walk on a beautiful day. My ears weren’t flapping in the wind and Grampy didn’t complain…… much.
I saw a couple of seagulls in the water and I could have caught them but then I’d have no where to put them. No pockets.
We walked, I sniffed, Baxter pooped, it was an all around great day.
Then we went home for naptime. What more could you ask for on a sunny day.
Next time I hope they bring snacks.
