Hello peoples! What a week here with my mom, dad and my best buddy Matt.
This week mom put me in her truck. This usually means going for a ride while she does errands like going to stores or picking up some stuff. I usually sit on dad’s lap but this time he didn’t come. I got the whole back seat. It didn’t take long to get to this to this place, BUT NOBODY TOLD ME WHAT THEY DO THERE!
We went to the Puppy Doctor place!
What a day!
At first, I liked walking in. There were all kinds of new smells and the building looked cool. A nice lady greeted us and she was petting me and commenting on my cuteness! Hey, what can I say?
They took us to another room and I sat on mom’s lap. I wasn’t too sure about this place. Then this Dr. Jay lady came in and got to know me. She looked in my eyes, ears, and mouth. She rubbed my tummy and was talking all nice. Then…. she took that thermometer thing and ….. well you probably know the rest. I’m still shaking just thinking about it. She put a little dab of cheesy stuff on the table…..and….I got two shots!! The cheese was a trick! But it was a good one! The doctor lady said she doesn’t like to give two shots to puppies but one shot was for Lyme disease because the ticks have been really bad. Mommy and daddy have already found a couple on me. What can I say? I like to meet new people. I attract friends wherever I go!
That night I was pretty sore. Yeah this pain thing? Not a fan. I don’t think I’ll go there again.
What’s this?
Dad and Matt started a new thing. They have lights and cameras and they talk to themselves a lot.
They call me “Studio Dog.”
Maybe I can be a cameradog. Ha! Get a little headset!🎧
The other day I went to see what dad was doing. It smelled pretty good.
He said, “Oscar taught you well!” I guess that’s a good thing? I don’t know Oscar but they seem to talk about him quite a bit.
Dad also says I have a unique way of playing with my toys.
I didn’t want to get out of my bed.
Then I didn’t want to climb back in.
Oh when did it get so hot around here? It seems like every few days we get a warm one.
It didn’t take me long to find the cool spots on the floor.
Other than that I keep learning stuff and exploring outside. I think the birds are playing with me. They just sit there… waiting… and then the minute I pounce….BOOM! They fly away! Ohhhh I’m not giving up. One day I know I’m going to time it right. I’ll make sure to bring the birdy to mommy as a gift. I bet she’ll be so happy.
