Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, discovering all kinds of things with my Grampy.
I had some more “firsts” this week.
I had my first Fluffernutter sandwich this week. Mommy let me try her sandwich when she and Grampy we’re having one and I liked it so much she made me my own. My daddy grew up in Southern California so he never knew about Fluff and thinks it’s weird. Grampy likes it too. He even had some stuck in his beard. Silly Grampy.
Speaking of Grampy, he said he needed a haircut this week so he asked my Uncle Doug to give him a trim.
I had never seen THAT before. ”Uncle Dougie, what are you doing to Grampy’s head? Don’t hurt him!” I’ve never had a haircut before. I kind of like mine.
I got to walk my doggie this week. I think Grampy helped a little but I had a good hold on the leash.
My mommy is taking some online courses, whatever that means. I helped with her homework.
I guess even though she gets to play with all of the money at the bank and then come home to play with me and take care of the dogs and Grampy, she’s looking for something to do with all of her spare time.
We had another “Cartoon Saturday” last week. That’s when my mommy has work and dad and I sit around in our jammies watching cartoons.
We let Luke watch with us too although he didn’t wear his jammies. I wonder where they are?
I keep trying to figure out these baby gates. Some day I’m gonna break out of here.
I made my first trip to the playground near my house.
Mommy let me ride on this horse. I’m going to go back later and feed him some oats, maybe a carrot. Does anyone know where we keep the oats?
And at the store this week….
Grampy put me in charge of the produce. This was MY lemon and it was my job to keep him safe. I named him Larry.
After all of those firsts I was a hungry boy.
I made sure to get every bite!
“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of Liam who is 11-months old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is there in the role of Grampnanny.
