Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, having all kinds of fun with my Grampy.
This week I took him to the zoo!
I told him, “Now don’t be afraid. The animals won’t bite you and mommy keeps us safe.”
We haven’t gone anywhere in, like, forever since this whole virus thing. Last week, mommy and Grampy put on their little face masky things, I grabbed some of my animal friends and we headed out.
I told Grampy that the giraffe was my favorite animal and guess what? It’s his favorite too! I knew I picked the right Grampy for me.
We got to the zoo and saw all kinds of things. There was a train….
And there were some zebras.
Grampy asked me if they were black with white stripes or white with black stripes. I … uh…. I don’t know.
Then, guess what I saw?????
We saw the giraffes!!
There’s four of them at my zoo. We went up the ramp so we could see better. They were eating hay so I had a little snack too. I don’t eat hay. Yuck!
We also saw some monkeys and buffalo and there was a lion that was sleeping in the shade. He growled real loud! I think he was having a dream.
We had a real good time and Grampy wasn’t scared at all. I was so proud of him.
Back at the house Grampy showed me a new TV show. Well it was new to me.
He said he used to watch Bugs Bunny back when he was a kid. Can you imagine that?? They had TVs back then? I bet he always stole the remote like I do. Hehe!
My mommy got really excited this week. That usually means the Amazon man came.
It’s my new raincoat. I don’t really know what a raincoat is but I think I like it.
Besides that, I just keep exploring and discovering stuff.
I help my mommy make the Mac and Cheese, you know, the stuff in the blue box? That stuff is awesome! Sometimes I share with Grampy.
I heard Grampy the other day tell mommy, “I never know when he’s had enough to eat.” So I showed him. When I feed the food to the dog, I’ve had enough.
That’s it for this week. I gotta get ready for another fun week with Grampy. Some days just one cup doesn’t seem to do it so Grampy and I have another.
HaHa!
