Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, just hanging out with Grampy and do I ever have news this week!
I’m walking! Well, kind of.
I walk with my toy. Grampy named it Cubby. He names all my toys but I guess this does look like a Cubby.
I also walk with some help from mommy, daddy or Grampy.
This was when I was on that Mega-Car Ride up to Grammy’s house.
So yeah, I’m keeping Grampy busy. I’m on the go almost all day now except for nap time. I think Grampy really looks forward to nap time now.
There is just so much to do! Grampy takes me outside for some fresh air everyday. Lately that’s only been for about five minutes because the weather in Virginia Beach gets a little warm.
Grampy said that on this day it was 95 degrees with a heat index of 107. I guess that’s bad. I don’t really know this is my first summer.
I try to stay cool and help mommy with her slushees.
I got into the cabinet and wanted to try one of these today but Grampy said I was slim enough.
Story time is a bunch of fun now that Grampy lets ME read to HIM.
We do Story time every day.
First thing in the morning I help mommy make the bed. She always lets me play in my Pillow Fort for a little bit.
I would invite Grampy in but we’d probably never be able to get him out.
Otherwise I just keep exploring my world.
This is a drawer we call “NO!” Or at least that’s what Grampy calls it. My dad keeps all his video game stuff here. I was just going to see if the headphones fit.
It gets a little busy now that I’m mobile. On weekends we kick back and take it a little easier. I made this nice little set up Sunday morning when mommy let me watch some cartoons.
I don’t know if I’ll have a blog next week. Grampy is having something called a “vacation.” Can you imagine? A vacation from me? He’s going to go to see Grammy for a week. Mommy and Daddy will be taking care of me. I guess mom is closing the bank and Dad is closing the Navy for the week so we can play. If Grampy leaves his tablet behind I’ll try to write something. He made the mistake of telling me the password once.
“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of Liam who is 10-months-old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Grampy is visiting and playing the role of Grampnanny.
