Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, hanging out with Grampy.
Last week I wore my camouflage outfit.
Grampy couldn’t find me all day!
We’ve had a busy week here with the holiday and everything. This was my first Independence Day. Mommy got me all dressed up in my red, white, and blue. I don’t know why but I guess it’s a rule.
Do you like mommy’s sneakers? I had my Converse on too, for about five minutes. I like my tootsies free.
I helped Uncle Doug cook because he said that’s what guys do. Then he grunted.
I know some people don’t like my hat but it’s important to my daddy. Grampy said I’m the only Yankee fan he’ll ever love. I guess that’s big stuff.
I had fun at the 4th of July party and mommy let me have a hot dog. It was a nice day.
After awhile we went back to my house. At least I think we did. I don’t remember how we got there.
I guess I had too much fun.
The next day I got a new toy!
I’m still practicing.
Then mommy and daddy had to go back to work so I went over to see Grampy the next day. I’ll tell ya, I’m useless until I have that first cup of Joe.
I’m kidding! Fooled ya huh? There was nothing in the cup. I always try to get Grampy’s foffee but he gets it away from me.
I like to make sure Grampy gets his exercise. We play all day with toys, have storytime and then Grampy tries to get me to take a nap. I try not to fall asleep because there’s so much to see and do but once he gets me in a Grampy bear hug and rubbing my back —- it just feels so nice and snuggly.
No matter how much fun we’re having though, Grampy always lets me go to the big window just in time for mommy.
I’m not sure but I think it’s her favorite part of the day.
“Raising Grampy” is the world through the eyes of Liam who is 9-months-old. He lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is there as the Grampnanny.
