Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, just hanging out with Grampy and teaching him baby stuff.
Guess who came to see me this week? No, not the Amazon Delivery Guy. He comes to see mommy. A lot!
Grammy came down! And Aunty Kat and Uncle Matt and this time Aunty Kat brought my Uncle Josh. There were so many people!
They even brought this guy!
This is Grammy and Grampy’s dog. His name is Baxter but mommy calls him “The Bear.”
We had so much fun! We went to Uncle Dougies house a lot and played in that thing mom calls a pool. It’s like a wicked big “tubby time.” But colder. And I can’t sit down
I swam with my mommy and Uncle Matt.
Aren’t we all cool with our shades? Yes! Those are Baby Ray Bans!
Then I swam with my Grammy.
Do you like my shark hat? How ‘bout my boat? That’s Uncle Josh playing a pool game.
After all that fun…..
I needed my napping buddy.
Later we had supper and I had another first! I learned how to wave!
The littlest things make them happy.
After dinner we went back outside. Grammy and I like to sit and watch the jets that fly over my Uncle Dougie’s house.
There’s really a lot of Navy jets. I thought the Navy had boats? I can’t keep it straight.
My Aunty Kat, my uncles and my daddy played this game called Wiffle Ball.
I couldn’t help but laugh. I hope I didn’t hurt their feelings but once I get the giggles I’m gone. And just the name of the game is funny. What’s a “Wiffle?”
Mommy and I even gave it a try.
Grampy told me to “open my hips” but I was busy chewing my fingers. I don’t know what we did but I think we won.
They all had to go back home after a few days. They celebrated Father’s Day early with Grampy. Now…he’s not my father but he’s my mommy’s father? He’s also father to Aunty Kat, Uncle Doug and Uncle Matt? This stuff is confusing.
On Sunday, mommy and I got up early and went to get Grampy some Krispy Kreme donuts. He was like a little kid when we brought them. Trust me, I know little kids. They even gave me my own size donut!
Another first for me!
I admit it, it was pretty good.
After that we went and spent Father’s Day with my daddy. We brought him breakfast in bed and then I gave him my present. He likes video games so I got us matching t-shirts.
I know, cute huh?
So this week we’re back at it. Mommy and Daddy go to work and I’m teaching Grampy a new game.
I call it “Pick-me-up-please.” I play it every time he puts me down.
“Raising Grampy“ is a look at the world through the eyes of 9-month old Liam. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is visiting and playing Grampnanny.
