Hello Peoples! It’s me, Carson and it’s been a busy week with Grammy and Grampy.
First they went away last week to see my cousin Ella in a place called Virginia. I think it’s the next town over from Acushnet. My Gigi watched me a few extra days last week.
When Grammy and Grampy came home they said it was time to buy the turkey. I don’t know why they need a turkey. They have a perfectly good puppy named Charlie. Maybe Charlie and the turkey will play.
So off we went!

Do you like my bear hat?
Anyway, we found a turkey that’s as big as me!
Other than that it’s been a busy week.

I help mom with the cooking. I’m in charge of the spatula.
Then I had to help her with the laundry.

Then one day at Grammy’s I had to help with the ironing.

I’m just so busy! After all that work it was story time.

Mommy, Daddy, Grammy and Grampy read to me all the time. I don’t understand a thing they’re saying but I pretend. I don’t want to hurt their feelings.
The other day Grampy and I were discussing the news of the day.

I didn’t understand that either but it was either that or I had to take a nap. Grampy says he can’t remember a time when he didn’t want a nap but I just don’t want to miss anything.
I did learn that Grampy is comfy to nap with.

Charlie likes naps too.
Oh and Grammy and Grampy buy me neat toys.

Other than that I kept everyone busy. It’s the least I can do. I have a new rule: If it can fit in my mouth, it goes in my mouth.

Did you notice daddy forgot to brush my hair?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Whatever that means. All I know is Grampy told me this week, “Just WAIT until you can have PIE!” Until then he said he’ll eat my piece. What a guy my Grampy!
”Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of Pete’s grandson Carson. Carson is 5 months old and lives in Acushnet with his mommy and daddy.
