Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, and guess who came to visit? Grammy and Grampy!!!
They got on a big plane and came to see me! Mommy and daddy too, and my puppies Luke and Yoda.
Mommy, daddy and I went to pick them up at the airport.
I gave Grammy and Grampy a tour around my house. I showed them my room, the guest room where they’re going to sleep, mommy and daddy’s room and then my playroom. That’s where I play every day and I usually talk to my Grampy on the Portal…
… but now he’s right here! Oh mommy said I should tell you that Grampy doesn’t sit in my bean bag chairs. She says if he ever does get in one it would take my daddy and a big crane to get him up. We moved the rocking chair in here for Grampy.
We played and the grownups talked a lot and then we walked around the neighborhood. After supper we watched a football game. Me, mommy and Grammy like the Patriots but Grampy is weird! He likes the Dolphins.
Grammy and Grampy came to see my school. We had a pizza party because my birthday was coming up.
The next day we got in the car and drove to a place called San Antonio because the grownups wanted to see Elmo. (Grampy note: “That’s ‘The Alamo’ dude’”)
It was a real old building. After that we went to the Riverwalk even though we didn’t walk. We went on a boat tour so I guess we went to the Riverboat.
We saw all kinds of stuff and then had lunch by the river at a Mexican restaurant. I had a quesadilla (Thanks for spelling that for me mommy!)
The next day was my birthday! I’m 4-years old! I think I get my license next week.
We went to one of my favorite places in Texas…the aquarium! I saw mingos….
And dolphins.
Grampy likes dolphins but I think he only likes the ones that live in Miami. I like my Texas dolphins. They play ball too!
We had lots of fun at the aquarium.
After that we went to my second favorite place in Texas… Dave and Busters!
Grampy and I played the air hockey game. Since this was his first time, I let Grampy win but don’t tell him.
We played Hungry Hungry Hippos….
…and lots of other games too!
It was such a fun day! I took my Grampy for a walk before dark time because he didn’t get enough exercise that day.
It was such a great day and it’s not even my birthday party yet. I showed the big people how to decorate.
I can’t wait for my party! Now if I can just keep Grampy from eating the cake before everyone gets here.
