Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, and boy are we doing lots of stuff!
For those of you that don’t know, mommy and I have moved in with Grammy and Grampy while my daddy is away on the big boat. By the way, we started the countdown!
Anyway, we’ve been really busy!
First it was my birthday! Have you ever had one of these? It’s pretty cool!
My mommy gave me a Lightning McQueen party! Grampy and I have watched those movies once or twice or a bajillion times.
We had some people over the house and I got some fun presents. I got my own pair of “noculars!”
I take them with me whenever I go for a walk.
Mommy and I still go to the beach but she says I can’t go swimming anymore. She says it’s too cold now. I’m not use to this cold weather stuff.
Other than that I just play with Grampy.
I like playing with Grammy’s yoga mat too.
The other big news was Aunty Kat’s wedding! Grampy took me out to a suit store. Well that’s what I call it. Grampy was all worried that I wouldn’t try on my suit.
Then he was upset because I didn’t want to take it off! Silly Grampy!
When the special day came we all got dressed up. I knew it was an important day so when they put my tie on, I went and got my bow tie because I wanted to look good for my Aunty Kat.
Grampy says this will be the new trend in five years. I don’t know what that means but then again we don’t understand half of what this guy says. We just smile and nod.
The wedding was in our church. It was my job to be the ring bearer (whatever that means). I just know I walked down the aisle with mommy so she wouldn’t get lost.
I was supposed to carry the briefcase but I liked mommy’s flowers better.
After the church we rode in this biiiiggggg white car!
Then we took SO MANY pictures! My Aunty Kat and Uncle Josh were even kissing! Yuck!
After that…IT WAS TIME TO PARTY! Mommy brought some glow sticks for me but I handed one out to everybody.
Mommy said I even started a Conga Line!
I don’t know what that is but she said daddy would be so proud.
We had such a fun time at Aunty Kat’s wedding! I can’t wait to do it again!
I’m not sure but I think I stayed up a little bit past my bedtime. But then…
“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of three-year-old Liam. Liam and his mommy are living with Pete and Priscilla until daddy’s deployment ends in February when they will begin a new adventure in Corpus Christi.
