Chapter 66
Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, feeling a little sad because Grampy went home. 🙁 But first, let me tell you about the fun I had while Grammy was here!
We did all kinds of stuff! I helped her plant the garden.
My mommy is growing a Bucket garden. I think we already have enough buckets but I guess she wants more.
Happy Birthday Uncle!
Last Wednesday was my Uncle Dougie’s birthday so I made him a cake.
Grammy helped a little.
I helped to set the dinner table…..
After that I showed her how I can play my music on the speaker that has blue teeth or tooth or something.
It was so much fun.
Excuse me, I have to blow my nose.
All better.
What’s your favorite word?
Mommy asked me a question the other day.
Time to say goodbye
Then it came time for Grammy and Grampy to leave. I thought it was time for Grampy to go home. He needs to be with people his own age. He needs to sit at the diner and complain about his cable bill.
Mommy got me up to see them off.
I made Grampy a good cup of coffee because I know he likes his coffee.
Mommy and I went back to the big bed and watched cartoons for awhile. Then we went to the zoo.
I think mommy did that so I wouldn’t miss Grampy. It was feeding time for the Giraffes! I told Grampy later because he like giraffes just like me.
So yeah…I miss my Grampy but I think I raised him well. I’m pretty sure he misses me too. We FaceTime a lot.
Last night I gave him a hug!
Breaking news!
I have some good news! Grampy told me that when he and Grammy come for a visit ….. we can write a story like this again! I guess we’re not done with these. I’m already busy taking notes.
“Raising Grampy” has been a look at the world through the eyes of Liam who is 17 months old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete has had an amazing experience as Grampnanny.
