Chapter 47
Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, just having a holly jolly. Grampy told me to say that. I don’t know what it means.
Did I tell you last week that mommy was planning a holiday photo day?
Well let’s just say it didn’t go smoothly.
Why do my doggies have sweaters?
She tried and tried.
We finally tried outside.
When did I lose my shoes?
Other than that it’s been a busy time with the Amazon guy bringing all kinds of boxes. Mommy is wrapping all the presents and we have a lot of decorations.
I have my own Nativity set that Grammy bought for me. Grampy took a picture of it all set up so he could put it back in place every night.
What can I say? I like to play with my toys. Grampy did say that I shouldn’t lose the baby Jesus. That wouldn’t be nice.
Story time
Grampy tries to keep me busy while mommy is doing all the Christmasy stuff. Sometimes we go in my room for story time.
Grampy likes it when I read to him. One day we went into Grampy’s room. He said we were playing library.
He calls this one the “aftermath.”
At least I stayed out of mommy’s way.
We go for a walk everyday. I even get to walk Yoda. He stops and sniffs a lot so I had to tell him we’re here to walk Grampy. Get with it.
I keep getting a hold of Grampy’s phone and taking lots and lots of pictures. Usually I get a good view of the ceiling but one time I got a good picture of mommy.
“Hello mommy!”
I get sweepy!
So that’s a glimpse of what I’ve been up to this week. Boy, keeping Grampy busy and taking him for walks every day can really tire a little guy out. Thankfully mommy tucks me in with my bunny Fred. Grampy gave me Fred way back when I was just a baby.
I love Fred. Just like I love my Grampy.
“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of Liam who is 1-year old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is visiting and playing the role of Grampnanny.
