Chapter 44
Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, feeling much better thanks for asking.
I was sick for a couple of days so mommy brought me to the doctor.
The doctor said there was nothing really wrong with me, maybe a virus. I just had a fever but no earache or sore throat. I am getting some new teethies so maybe that’s it.
My daddy got sent home from work because someone he worked with had that Corona thing.
I had a sleepover with mommy because daddy had to go to his room for 48 hours. Did you know that’s like 2 days! I guess he was naughty. After those two days he came out and he says he feels fine but he has to stay home for two weeks. Yay! We can play!
Christmas time!
We’re getting ready for the holidays – I think. I don’t really know. Sure I was around last Christmas but I was only 3 months old.
Mommy and Grampy were all excited last weekend when we went Christmas shopping.
Grampy even picked out a new suit.
Mommy said I could buy one ornament every year for my tree so I picked Olaf.
I like Olaf. I think it’s because he’s little like me. And we both like warm hugs.
Let’s see what else is going on ….
I like to play outside a lot now.

I was calling for Grampy the other day to come out and play. I think he was in the bathroom. Again.
Every day I help Grampy make my lunch.
I like to walk my puppy Yoda.
And I like to untie Grampy’s shoes when he’s not looking. HeeHee!
I also try to steal his phone every day.

Raising Grampy With a Thanksgiving Wish
Mommy said I should wish you a happy Thanksgiving—- so “Happy Thanksgiving!” Um, just one thing —— what’s a “Thanksgiving?” I was here for THAT last year but I was only 2 months old.
She told me to think about what I’m thankful for. I guess it would be mommy, daddy, all my aunts and uncles. The doggies Luke and Yoda. There’s my abuelito and abuelita. My grammy and how can I forget Grampy. He is pretty special even if he is a walking dad joke. HaHa! Mommy wrote that.
He is pretty cool and he gives warm hugs.
“Raising Grampy” is a look at the world through the eyes of 1-year-old Liam. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is visiting and playing the role of Grampnanny.
