Hi everyone! It’s me, Liam, just hanging out with Grampy.
It’s been a busy week with so many things to discover! And there’s this one word that Grampy has been saying recently, actually there’s a lot of words the man says, he never stops! I just humor him though, in case he’s lonely.
What is this word “NO” that he says? He seems to be saying it every day.
I hear it when I go to the dog’s bowl, when I go near daddy’s Xbox or mommy’s candles. Does it mean that I have good taste for trying to get to those things? I don’t know.
We had a couple of really hot days here in Virginia Beach. Grampy put me in my tank top.
He said it shows off my “guns.” I don’t know what that means.
One day last week was not so much fun. My gums were hurting so I just wanted to snuggle.
I don’t know what this teething thing is. If it’s going to hurt much more than this I think I’d rather just skip it. I’ll talk to mommy.
I discovered all kinds of exciting stuff this week. Mommy was putting away some laundry so I crawled in the closet to help.
They were hiding these cool boxes! I had a blast! Daddy keeps saying we could of saved money on toys if they had known. I don’t get it.
Later in the week I went to my Uncle Dougie’s house.
I couldn’t find the dog food bowls. I hope they still feed Roscoe.
Roscoe is my buddy. Did you know that he stays right near my high chair at lunchtime because he doesn’t want me to be lonely while I pick up my food and spread it all around? Isn’t he great? What a friend.
Uncle Doug and Aunty Marla have these things called “coasters.” They spin real good. I guess adults play with them at parties.
Grampy tries to get me to take a nap in his room.
I took out one of his books for Storytime. There were no pictures! I hope Grampy didn’t spend much on this book. He should take it back! Whoever heard of a book with no pictures?
I took out his bookmark too. I thought he might want that. I think that was another time where he said that “no” word.
We do all kinds of things at my Uncle Dougie’s and I’m always happy to help.
I was in the laundry room with Grampy when I found this. I don’t know what it is but it sounds good when you bang it on the floor.
The only other thing I wanted to tell about was something Grampy called, “Who’s taller, Liam or the CVS receipt?” I never know what this man is going to do from one day to the next. Apparently he went to the store to get ONE thing of medicine and he saved the receipt.
I didn’t win —- but just give me a couple of weeks.
“Raising Grampy” is the world through the eyes of Liam who is 8-months old. Liam lives in Virginia Beach with his mommy and daddy. Pete is the Grampnanny.
