Hi guys! It’s me…..Oscar the Beagle.
I have a question for you: Don’t you think when they get take out they should share? Grammy and Grampy got Chinese food the other day. Grammy went out to pick it up and she came back with a bag that was full of awesome smelling stuff.
There was a container of food for Grampy, one for Grammy and one for Uncle Matt. Then they took out some sauces and other stuff and then they put the empty bag off to the side. I wandered over and stuck my head in the bag but found nothing.
I just think that if the whole family was having a treat that night, it should include the WHOLE family. Am I right? But NO! Grampy took the bag away and said, “Not for you guys.”
The other day he had lunch with Aunty Kathryn and I kept an eye on his fries for him. Do you think I got any reward for my services?
Nope!
Baxter and I are loving the weather lately. It’s been nice but not too hot. I don’t like it when it’s too hot. The road hurts my feet. I’ve told you before how Grammy takes us for a walk almost every day when she’s home. We go down by the beach a lot. There is always something to see and plenty of things to smell.
I could hear these birds in the tree the other day but I couldn’t see them. I knew they were there but I just couldn’t see them. I only wanted to play. Grammy tugged on my leash and said we had to go.
Grampy got a new barbecue grill this week. I don’t think it was his birthday because there was no cake. He likes cake. I like cake. It was some special day and he got this big grill from all the family. We were Facetiming with Sarah and Uncle Dougie down at their houses.
Uncle Matt put it together with Auntie Kat’s boyfriend Josh. They have a new apartment that I’m still waiting to be invited to. Aunty Kat said something about her house has no dog fur so I don’t think Baxter and I will be invited any time soon. Well excuse me!
I can’t wait for Grampy to start grilling. If you think he’s a Clutz at the oven you should see him outside flipping meat. Let’s just say I’ve had a hot dog or two that got away from him.
That’s my job! I stand right next to him in case there’s any flying meat. It’s kinda hot when it falls but I just consider that part of the challenge.
I think he’s planning on grilling tonight so I’ll let you know how that goes and whether or not he needs my help.
