“Pete’s Daily Connection”

Woof Wednesday

Hi guys! It’s me ….. Oscar the Beagle.

Did you KNOW about this???? I was going through Grampy’s phone the other day, (Which is pretty impressive when you remember I have no thumbs) when I found this picture.

Cookies for miles! And he says it’s like that every day! I could do some damage there! Maybe I should apply for a job: Milk Bone Supervisor! Yeah! I like that!

In other news this week I thought Grammy was cheating on us.

She would go out the front door, which we never do, and then come back after a few minutes….. SMELLING LIKE ANOTHER DOG! Yes we DO notice those things.

After a little jealousy on my part, and Baxter too, we found out that she was taking care of the neighbor’s dog. Our neighbors went away for a few days and they couldn’t bring Conway so Grammy and Grampy took care of him by going over and feeding him and letting him out.

I keep an eye on the whole thing, hoping she’ll bring back some extra treats. She never does.

We had another trip to the Vet this week. Baxter and I went together: Bax needed some tests but I just needed a mani/pedi. Grampy always says when I start making a lot of noise on the hardwood floors (clickety clack), it’s time for a trim. Grammy tried cutting my toenails once but I didnt know what was going on so I howled and howled. I go to the Vet now and the pretty lady does it and then I get a cookie.

When we got to the Vet this week they put us both in a room but then they took Baxter away! They took my buddy! Grammy says I started to pace and cry. I was worried for my friend. He came back though and then it was my turn to get my nails done.

I made Grammy laugh because the technician lady forgot to give me the cookie so I started staring at her —–then the cabinet—— then back at her —— then the cabinet. That’s when Grammy said, “He’s showing you where they are. You forgot something.” I gotta teach these humans everything!

We’re getting ready for Easter here at the house. The humans don’t do that Easter egg hunt thing anymore. I guess they found them all. We used to like running around with the kids.

Grammy and Grampy are having a few people over and I’m just waiting for Grampy to carve that big ole ham. There’s nothing better than Captain Clutz carving meat. You know where I’ll be!
