Woof Wednesday and the Time Change

Guys! Guys! It’s me, Oscar. Grandpy left his tablet down low again and you know what I say… anything I can reach is mine. My Uncle Matt didn’t understand that rule when I stole his sandwich off the end table. He was really mad but… a rule is a rule.

Things have been kind of confusing here at the house. Why did we change meal time last week?

I think it was Sunday — yeah it must have been Sunday because the humans sat around in sweatpants watching the box with pictures all day. I think It’s called “football?” — so on Sunday, Grammy and Grandpy seemed to sleep too long. They were late giving us breakfast. Then when suppertime came, no one moved. It was like we ate an hour later.

Baxter said something about “changing the clocks” but that can’t be right. Why would you do that? We don’t have watches though I think some of my friends may have eaten one once. We don’t need a watch. I sleep when I’m tired and eat when I’m hungry. My tummy knows what time it is but they were late for a few days. Now it seems normal.

The other thing that happened was just terrible. All of the leaves fell off the tree in the backyard! Yeah! Now I can’t stop sneezing.

I think I told you before that I have allergies. All of these wet leaves make me sneeze. Auntie Kathryn comes over on the football day and she’s always coming at me with a tissue. She says it would be good if I could “just blow” but I dont know what that means.

Every morning I take medicine for my sneezing. I take a cracker and some peanut butter. It must be the peanut butter that works although there is something crunchy inside.

I kinda like this weather, except when it rains a lot. I still have to go outside but I noticed the humans don’t have to go outside. Maybe they never have to go potty?

It’s not too hot so we can go for longer walks and grammy takes us for car rides now. I love car rides especially when they don’t end up at the vet.

I guess we’ll have that snow stuff pretty soon. When I was a pup I used to love it until the snow got stuck in my feet. That’s cold! Now it’s kind of a pain when we get a lot. Grammy has to shovel a path and I end up with ONE spot where I can “go.” I don’t like one spot I like to wander around.

Well that’s about it for now. It’s been 20 minutes since my last nap so I gotta get going.

Please don’t tell grandpy that I steal his tablet every week. He thinks he gets lots of “views” for HIS work!

Is it Thanksgiving yet? There’s a lot of dishes to lick on Thanksgiving.
